About the event

Bass notes that plumb the depths of the human voice and melodies drawn from centuries of Russian Orthodox chant make Rachmaninoff's 1915 All-Night Vigil one of the great choral masterworks. Cappella Romana opens its 35th anniversary season presenting it as intended, with unadorned chants woven between Rachmaninoff's movements. Conducted by John Michael Boyer.
