About the event

Long before "Carol of the Bells" became a holiday staple, it was "Shchedryk," a Ukrainian New Year's song. Fresh from acclaimed December concerts in California, Ensemble Cherubim and director Marika Kuzma bring their program to the East Coast. Traditional Ukrainian winter carols, koliadky and shchedrivky, are woven with poetic reflections and special guests. Concert proceeds benefit the Olena Zelenska Foundation in support of the children of Ukraine.
